Side-by-side, husband and wife, 2nd Lt Dennis McGurk and his wife, Oksana, were laid to rest June 27 after their tragic passing in a plane crash. The McGurks had a funeral organized by the Atlantic City Police Department, where Dennis was an 11-year veteran officer, assisted by an honor guard from New Jersey Wing. Read more

New Jersey Wing member 2nd Lt Dennis McGurk and his wife, Oksana, have been identified as the two victims of an aircraft crash in Dennis Township on June 20. McGurk was a member in Jack Schweiker Composite Squadron. He had also visited a few times at Atlantic County Composite Squadron and was well known to many in Group 225.

LUMBERTON, NJ -- New Jersey Wing of the Civil Air Patrol is pleased to announce the promotion of cadet Jamie Wright of Clarksboro, Gloucester County, to the rank of cadet colonel. Wright passed a rigorous set of physical and academic exams for the prestigious Gen. Carl. A. Spaatz Award, the highest cadet award in the Civil Air Patrol, in May.
